Abstract

Penelitian ini mengetahui hubungan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi, pengeluaran pendidikan dan tingkat kemiskinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model kausalitas Granger. Data yang digunakan adalah data time series selama periode 1999 sampai 2018. Temuan dalam penelitian menjelaskan bahwa terdapat tiga persamaan yang terkointegrasi yang dapat dilihat dari nilai Trace Statistic lebih besar dari nilai Critical Value, lalu kemudian pada hasil Max Eigen Statistic lebih besar dari Critical Value. Hasil Uji kausalitas Granger menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan satu arah dari pengeluaran pendidikan ke pertumbuhan ekonomi. Hubungan satu arah juga terjadi dari pertumbuhan ekonomi ke tingkat kemiskinan, dan hubungan satu arah dari tingkat kemiskinan ke pengeluaran pendidikan.
