Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat permainan edukatif geometri bangun ruang untuk mengenalkan konsep whole and part pada anak kelompok B di taman kanak-kanak yang teruji validitas dan praktisnya. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Rowntree yang terdiri dari (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) desain produk, dan (3) evaluasi peneliti menggunakan prosedur evalusi formatif Tessmer yang terdiri dari 1) self evaluation, 2) expert review one-to-one evaluation, dan 3) small group evaluation). Serta teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah walkthrough dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa validitas materi sebesar 75% dengan kategori valid, dan validitas media 89% dengan kategori sangat valid, diperoleh nilai rata-rata validitas produk sebesar 82% dengan kategori sangat valid. Tahap one-to-one evaluation melibatkan tiga orang anak dengan hasil 85% dan tahap small group evaluation melibatkan sembilan orang anak mendapatkan hasil 88%. Dari keduanya diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 86% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan alat permainan edukatif konsep whole and part berbasis geometri bangun ruang pada anak kelompok B di taman kanak-kanak dinyatakan valid dan praktis dan layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran mengenalkan konsep whole and part.
