Abstract

This research is to find out how the form of solidarity that exists between songket craftsmen in Kampoeng BNI, and analyze the factors that influence the solidarity of the songket craftsmen. This research uses a qualitative method in which the data collection is done by interviews so that they are able to dig deeper about the social solidarity that exists between these craftsmen. The object of this research is the Kampoeng BNI songket craftsmen in Muara Penimbung Village, Indralaya District. Ogan Ilir Regency. The findings show that the form of solidarity intertwined in the allocation of these craftsmen changed the transition from mechanical solidarity to organic solidarity. They have the same type of work and goals in meeting their daily needs. Then came the mutual cooperation in the form of community service. In addition in the form of production and profit sharing exists in the group. It’s triggered by the factors that create solidarity withun the group of craftsmen.
