Abstract

The porpose of this research is to know The effect of supplementation Indigofera zollingeriana top leaf meal to slaughter weigth, carcass percentage and slices commercial carcass of Pegagan ducks. This research was conducted for 2 months in poultry experimental cages on Department of Technology and Livestock Industries Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University and Nutrition and Feed Animal Laboratory Department of Technology and Livestock Industries Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University. The research method used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment consists of R0 (control), R1 (ration with supplementation Indigofera zollingeriana top leaf meal for 1%), R2 (ration with supplementation Indigofera zollingeriana top leaf meal for 2%), R3 (ration with supplementation Indigofera zollingeriana top leaf meal for 3%), and R4 (ration with supplementation Indigofera zollingeriana top leaf meal for 4%), Parameters observed include by slaughter weigth, carcass percentage and slices commercial carcass. The results of this reseacrh indicate that, supplementation Indigofera zollingeriana top leaf meal in diets no significanlly (P> 0,05) to slaughter weigth, carcass percentage and slices commercial carcass of Pegagan ducks. Conclusion in this research of show that supplementation Indigofera zollingeriana top leaf meal in diet up to 4% no significanlly to slaughter weigth, carcass percentage and slices commercial carcass of Pegagan ducks.
