Abstract
In this study would predict temperature distribution on cutting tool in the process of turning for titanium with FEM-Simulation uses Autodesk Inventor software 2016. An analysis of this study will compare the results of the simulation using the software Autodesk Inventor 2016 and Autodesk Simulation Mechanical with result of research journal as a reference. From theoretical calculations in mind that the value of the conduction heat transfer is equal to 1,44309 J/s. or 1,44309 W. Based on the simulation results obtained value of the temperature distribution in the process of turning for Ti-6Al-4V along the 9 mm using a carbide tool generates a temperature at the tip of the tool at 1200oC and temperature flows along fields generated tool gradually fall until 118,650oC, and temperature at the tip of the tool at 1200oC and temperature flows along fields generated tool gradually fall up to 100oC of research results in the journal as a reference. Comparison of the difference in the calculation of the study in the journal as a reference and simulation calculation program has a difference that is not too much can be stated that the method used has the appropriate accuracy.
