Abstract

The construction of the Musi V bridge is included in the series of the Kapal Betung toll road, with a toll exit ramp located in Pulokerto Village Gandus district. It is estimated that when the Musi V bridge operates there will be an increase in traffic flow on roads in the Gandus district, because the district is a very strategic area covering the area agropolitan, industrial, tourist destination and others. In addition, there are several roads alternatives to and from the nasional roads in the district. One national road can be accesed via several roads in Gandus district from the toll exit ramp is Soekarno Hatta street. In anticipation of a decrease in the level of roads services at some roads as access to Jalan Soekarno Hatta, require performance calculations road sections for existing conditions and after Musi V bridge operates. Data processing traffic volume is carried out using the 2014 PKJI method and the Vissim program. Based on PKJI 2014 calculations, the level of roads service has decreased after the Musi V operates, and result of Vissim simulation showed an increase of queue length and delay. After analyzing, the roads segment perfomance improves by making geometric changes namely road widening. The results of 2014 PKJI analysis, road widening was able to reduce degree of saturation from 1,24 to 0,61, level of service from F to C. The result of Vissim simulation showed a decrease in queue length from 79 meters to 57 meter and vehicles delay from 26 seconds to 14 seconds.
