Abstract

Maintaining favorable insurance customers and remove the risk of harm insurance customers is one of the business strategy to reduce investment selectively to make insurance companies continue to survive. To decide to extend or stop the insurance policy customers, calculation with the proper methods and techniques will be very affect the accuracy of decisions to be taken. This research aims to analysis of the insurance policy renewal JP-ASTOR (motor insurance) based on data taken from PT. Jasaraharja Putera son branches Palembang database using data mining techniques with C4.5 algorithm. In this research, the rules that obtained from the attributes in triningset will be used to predict the future data stored in testingset, to predict whether the customer insurance policy JP-ASTOR will be extended or terminated.
