Abstract

The aim of this research was to know the . growth response and yield of yellow velvet/ea/ plant (Limnocharis flava L.) on various rates of Nitrogen fertilizer. This research was conducted in September 201 7 to November 2017. This research used Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) with 5 treatments and 5 block Each treatment unit is 2 plants, so there were 50 plants. The treatments are Do (Control), D1 (Dose of Urea fertilizer 3.40 gram/plant), D2 (Dose of urea fertilizer 5,35 gram/plant), D3 (Dose of urea fertilizer 6.80 gram/plant), and D4 (Dose of urea fertilizer 8. 75 gram/plant). The results showed that the treatment of D1 (3.40 gram I plant urea fertilizer) increased the growth and yield of genjer crops. The highest yields were in plant height variables, number of leaves, length of leaf, width of leaf, length of petiole, fresh root weight, and leaf bud yield In the variables of green leaves, dry weight of plants, and highest yield of leaf yields obtained at treatment D4 (Dose of urea fertilizer 8. 75 gram/plant). On the .freshest plant fresh weight and highest dry weight of roots were obtained at treatment D3 (Dose of urea fertilizer 6.80 gram/plant).
