Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fitrah-based learning in PPKn subjects on the character of students at SMP Negeri 6 Palembang. The research method used in this study is quantitative and the population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Palembang, totaling 315 respondents. The sample in this study amounted to 31 respondents. This study uses two variables, namely the X variable of fitrah-based learning and the Y variable of the student's character. The data collection techniques used were documentation, observation and questionnaires. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between fitrah-based learning on student character. This can be proven from the results of hypothesis testing using Linear Regression Analysis. From the test, thevalue is sig 0.000 and α (0.000 <0.05), then Hₒ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. With the acceptance of Hₐ as a result of the analysis, it means that there is a significant influence of the fitrah-based learning activities on the character of students of SMP Negeri 6 Palembang.
