Abstract
Agave is a ornamental leaves which began to be devolped in Indonesia Effort to enhance the growth of plant to produce an atractive appearance was done by using fertilization. The used ofNPK fertilizer in form compound fertilizer was more efficient because its was included same nutrients for plant. The aim of this research was to the growth responses of agave (Agave sisalana Perrine) in different doses to application NPK fertilizer. This research was conducted from October 2016 through January 2017 in The Greenhouse and analysis chlorophyll was conducted in Plant Physiology Laboratory of Agronomy Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The method was used Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with six treatments and three replications. The treatments are Do = Control, D1 = 100 kg NPK ha·1, D2 = 150 kg NPK ha·1, D3 = 200 kg NPK ha·1, D4 = 250 kg NPK ha-1, and Ds = 300 kg NPK ha-1. The parameters are plant length, leaves number, leaves width, total chlorophyll, root length, canopy diameter, and leaves density . The results showed that 250 ton NPK ha·1 (D4) provided an optimal effect on growth of the agave plants. Its observed that parameters of plant length 13,35 cm, leaves number 4,88, total chlorophyll 17 ,3 7 mg/1, canopy diameter 88,80 cm, and leaves density 4, 14 cm
