Abstract
Kailan is one of the popular vegetable in Indonesia. This study aims to assess the influence of some organic fertilizer and N,P,K fertilizer on the growth and yield of kailan. Research used the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 16 treatment were repeated three times. The treatments were compost cowpea (Ki), compost cowpea and 25% recommended doses of N,P,K (K2), compost cowpea and 50% recommended doses of N,P ,K (K3), compost cowpea and 75% recommended doses of N,P,K (K.i), compost empty oil palm bunches (Ks), compost empty oil palm bunches and 25% recommended doses of N,P,K, compost empty oil palm bunches and 50% recommended doses of N,P,K (K1), compost empty oil palm bunches and 75% recommended doses of N,P,K (Ks), fertilizer chicken manure (K9), fertilizer chicken manure and 25% recommended doses of N,P,K (K10), fertilizer chicken manure and 50% recommended doses of N,P,K (K11), fertilizer chicken manure and 75% recommended doses of N,P,K (K12), fertilizer cow manure (K13), fertilizer cow manure and 25% recommended doses of N,P,K (K14), fertilizer cow manure and 50% recommended doses of N,P,K (K1s) and fertilizer cow manure and 75% recommended doses of N,P,K (K16). The result showed that fertilizer N,P,K were important on the growth and yield of kailan, the used of compost cowpea with 50% recommended doses ofN,P,K gave the highest result on the growth and yield of kailan and yield of kailan were worth in the market.
