Abstract
This experiment aimed to know the impact of organic and inorganic fertilizers on the growth and yield of cauliflower. This experiment was conducted on November 2016 until February 2017 at experimental station of Agricultural Faculty Sriwijaya University lndralaya. The method used in this experiment was randomized complete block design. It consisted of 7 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were control (without fertilizer) (TO), 25 ton ha-1 of chicken manure (Tl), 30 ton ha-1 of chicken manure (T2), 35 ton ha-1 of chicken manure (T3), 250 kg ha-' of Phonska NPK fertilizer (T4), 350 kg ha-1 of Phonska NPK fertilizer (TS), 450 kg ha-1 of Phonska NPK fertilizer (T6). The results showed that organic fertilizer was better than inorganic fertilizer. Those were showed by variables of plant height, number of leaves, flower diameter, fresh weight of flowers, fresh root weight, root dry weight. The treatment 35 tons ha-1 of chicken manure was the best treatment to improve the yield of cauliflower.
