Abstract
This study aims to determine the composition of the planting medium for rice husk charcoal ed chicken manure with soil on the growth and yield of caisim plants. This research was conducted from September 2019 to January 2020. The design used in this study was a randomized block design (RBD) with 11 treatments ed 3 replications. Each treatment unit has 3 plants, so there are 99 plants. The treatments were P0 (100% soil), P1 (90% soil: 10% chicken manure), P2 (80% soil: 20% chicken manure), P3 (70% soil: 30% chicken manure), P4 (60% soil: 40% chicken manure), P5 (50% soil: 50% chicken manure), P6 (90% soil: 10% husk charcoal), P7 (80% soil: 20% husk charcoal), P8 (70% soil: 30% husk charcoal), P9 (60% soil: 40% husk charcoal), P10 (50% soil: 50% husk charcoal). The results showed that P5 treatment (50% soil: 50% chicken manure) was the best treatment at plant height variables with an average value of 33.64 cm, number of leaves with an average value of 15.39, plant fresh weight with an average value of 33.64 cm. an average of 157.67 g, plant dry weight with an average value of 18.85 g, root fresh weight with an average value of 13.09 g, root dry weight with an average value of 4.43 g, and the canopy and root ratio with an average value of 6,66.
