Abstract
The aims of this research was to study the effect of organic fertilizer composition on growth and yield cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. Botrytis forma cauliflora). Th.is research was conducted on November 2016 until February 2017 at experimental field Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. This research used Completely Randomized Design with 8 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments was P1 = 80% soil: 20% chicken manure, P2 = 70% soil: 30% chicken manure, P3 = 60% soil : 40% chicken manure, P 4 = 50% soil : 500/o chicken manure, Ps = 80% soil : 20% compost of oil palm empty fruit bunches, P6 = 70% soil : 30% compost of oil palm empty fruit bunches, P1 = 60% soil : .40% compost of oil palm empty fruit bunches and Ps= 50% soil : 50% compost of oil palm empty fruit bunches. The results showed that treatments of chicken manure fertilizer better than compost of oil palm empty fruit bunches. Its observed that parameters of plant height, number of leaves, commercial flower weight, days of flowering, days of maturity, root length, root weight and root dry weight. The compotition of 50% soil : 50% chicken manure given the best treatments to increase yields cauliflower crop.
