Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of cow manure and NPK fertilizer on the growth of aloe vera (Aloe vera L). This research was conducted from July to October 2020, conducted on land located in Jambi City with coordinate points (-1.6161461687486067, 103.63081997418753). The design used in this study was a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 7 treatments with 3 replications. Each treatment consisted of 3 polybag units, so there were 63 plants. The treatments used in this research are; T0: control, T1: NPK fertilizer 30 g / plant, T2: 20 g / plant NPK fertilizer, T3: 10 g / plant NPK fertilizer, T4: 300 g / plant cow manure, T5: 200 g / plant cow manure , and T6: Cow fertilizer 100 g / plant. The results showed that by giving cow manure could increase the growth and yield of aloe vera (Aloe vera L.) on the variables of leaf width and number of tillers. Treatment of 200 gram / cow manure plant treatment of midrib width (3.22 cm) and number of tillers (4.42 pieces) Keywords: Aloe vera L., Cow Manure Fertilizer, NPK Fertilizer
