Abstract

Anchovy (stolephorus sp) is one of the marine fishery products found in Banyuasin waters.stationary lift net is type of fishing gear used to catch anchovy in Banyuasin waters. The aim of this research were to analyze length-weight relationship and to know the growth patern of anchovy the caught on stationary lift net in Banyuasin Waters. This research was conducted on 03-16 November 2019 in Banyuasin Waters , Banyuasin District, South Sumatera . Primary data used in this study are data from anchovy length and weight measurements. There are two species of anchovy that are predominantly caught are anchovy stolephrus comersonii and stolephorus insularis . Both anchovy species have lengths ranging from 36 - 87 mm and weights ranging from 0.2 - 6.6 grams. The growth pattern of stolephorus commersonii and stolephorus insularis is negatif allometric with b values of stolephorus commersonii is 2,98 and stolephorus insularis is 2,58.
