Abstract

This study was aimed to create a garden design around the Islamic Hospital Siti Khadijah yard, palembang city that give interesty and hospitaly environment. The study was conducted from September 2019 to Desember 2019. The research methods were observation and survey. Data obtained through interviews with the director of The Islamic Hospital Siti Khadijah and doing survey at the research location. The design was improvement in stages several namely inventory, analysis, concept synthesis, planning and design, consultation with users, initial design, and final design. The results of the design improvement design namely the site is divided into 3 zones, including: Welcome Zone, Healing Zone, and Treatment Zone. Each garden zone is designed to adapt to the potential and optimize the function and aesthetic value of the site such as adding soft and hard elements. Soft elements namely vegetation: flowering plants (colors) and plants that display an attractive garden. Hard elements are park benches, park lights, conblocks, last standing, fountains, and trash bins. The proposed budget for the execution of the improvement design of The Siti Khadijah Islamic Hospital Garden design is Rp. 765,736,053.72 Keywords : Improvement, Garden, Hospital, Beautiful
