Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan asam akrilat dengan kapasitas 72.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri tahun 2021 di Kendal, Jawa Tengah seluas 4,25 ha. Proses pembuatan asam akrilat ini menggunakan metode kondensasi aldol asam asetat dan formaldehida dengan katalis vanadium oksida dan titanium pyrophosphate. Kondisi operasi pembuatan asam akrilat adalah 260oC dan tekanan 1 atm. Reaksi yang terjadi sebagai berikut : CH3COOH (g) + CH2O (g) C3H4O (g) + 2 H2O (g) Perusahan pabrik pembuatan asam akrilat ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan pimpinannya adalah direktur utama. Sistem organisasi perusahaan ini adalah line and staff dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 102 orang. Hasil dari analisa ekonomi Pra-rencana Pabrik Pembuatan Etanol ini sebagai berikut. • Investasi = US $ 135,432,903.73 • Hasil penjualan per tahun = US $ 146,589,485.10 • Biaya produksi per tahun = US $ 103,874,302.75 • Laba bersih per tahun = US $ 37,624,383.92 • Pay Out time = 4,06 tahun • Rate of return on investment = 20,50% • Discounted Cash Flow–ROR = 26,00% • Break Even Point = 33,78% • Service Life = 11 tahun
