Abstract

PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk is a limestone mining company that carries out limestone mining activities using blasting methods and a series of mechanical equipment. Limestone mining is carried out using a series of mechanical equipment in the form of continuous mining / Surface Miner. This activity invites an important role for limestone mining, especially in the eastern area which is called the red zone or critical area because in that area the location is very close to residential housing. In the eastern area of the existing pit in February 2020 it is targeted to dig limestone by 60,000 tonnes / month, but in reality the production achievement has not been achieved so it is necessary to evaluate the productivity of the Wirtgen 2200 surface miner excavator. The results showed that the actual productivity calculation of the Wirtgen 2200 surface miner excavator was 212.20 tons / hour, with a production achievement of 57.081.8 tons / month. The availability of Wirtgen 2200 surface miner was obtained with MA = 70.18%, PA = 75.13%, UA = 77.9%, EU = 58.52%. As forthe cause of production is not achieved due to a lot of lost time in operator performance. After evaluating the loss of production time, it can be seen that the amount of time lost in one work shift is still large. Evaluation by reducing the time obstacles that can be avoided such as operator delay, site preparation, daily maintenance. Thus, the reduction of working hours from 269 hours to 304 hours, standby time from 76.33 hours to 41.08 hours. And obtained effective working hours from 58.52% to 69.46%. For production increased to 76,568.48 tons / month. The cutting tool replacement rate is 3 pcs / hour with a ratio of 0.01 pcs / ton.
