Abstract

The aim of the 6th Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) is to guarantee the availability of clean water. This is targeted to be achieved in 2030. In the current era of globalization, humans have various needs, one of which is water. If the drinking water consumed does not meet health requirements, it will have a negative impact on health. The Palembang City Health Office has 426 drinking water store and only 86 health store are eligible. There are 20 drinking water store in Gandus District, Palembang, but none of them meet health requirements. This study aims to analyze the supervision of the Refill Drinking Water Store (DAMIU) program at the Palembang City Health Office. This research at the Palembang City Health Office uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. There are 12 informants in this study consisting of holders of drinking water store programs, depot owners and the community around the drinking water store chosen purposively. Data collection is done by in-depth interviews, observations and document review. The results showed that in preliminary supervision, there was a shortage of health workers who conducted supervision and there were no special funds available for the surveillance program. During supervision during work, there is often no supervision carried out by the Health Office, no inspection of raw water and counseling to store owners is not carried out. Feedback control for all drinking water store having a Sanitation Worthy Certificate (SLS) has not reached the target. Recommendations to the Health Service, increasing the number of health workers who conduct supervision and conduct regular surveillance every year in accordance with minister of health regulation No. 736 of 2010.
