Abstract
THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY WAS TO ANALYZE MECHANICAL NOISE AND VIBRATION ON A LAWN MOWER. THE RESULTS OF RESEARCH AND MEASUREMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT ON A SLING TYPE LAWN MOWER, THE HIGHEST NOISE INTENSITY ON THE OPERATOR IN THE NOISE GRAPH IS 96.8 DB WITH 7500 RPM MOTOR ROTATION SPEED, WHILE THE LOWEST NOISE INTENSITY IS 77.3 DB WITH 5500 MOTOR ROTATION SPEED RPM. THE HIGHEST NOISE INTENSITY OF A LAWN MOWER ON THE ENVIRONMENT IS 85.6 DB WITH 7500 RPM MOTOR ROTATION SPEED, WHILE THE LOWEST NOISE INTENSITY IS 52.8 DB WITH 5500 RPM MOTOR ROTATION SPEED. BASED ON THE MEASUREMENT RESULTS, THE VIBRATION LEVEL ON A LAWN MOWER CARRYING A MOTOR ROTATION SPEED OF 5500 RPM AND 6500 RPM HAS PASSED THE VIBRATION THRESHOLD VALUE OF 4 M/S².
