Abstract

In the electrical system, disturbances that occur not only from outside but can also occur from within (internally). For this reason, a reliable protection relay is needed to protect the electric power system and localize areas where interference is occurring. The relay will work by sending a trip signal if there is a disturbance to the PMT (Power Breaker). Therefore, accurate time and current settings are needed so that the relay can work quickly when a disturbance occurs. Therefore, the author raises the issue of overcurrent relay coordination and ground disturbance relay as safety for the 60 MVA Transfromator at Prabumulih Substation. From the calculation of the overcurrent relay settings and ground disturbance relay with the existing data in the field in unsuitable conditions. Obtained TMS overcurrent on the primary side transformer 150 kV of 0.30 SI, 20 kV TMS transformer side of 0.17 SI. For the ground fault relay on the primary side transformer 150 kV TMS is 0.42, the secondary side transformer 20 kV is 0.24. For the overcurrent relay in Dewi Sartika feeder, it is set with a TMS of 0.09 SI. and the ground fault relay is set with a TMS of 0.10 SI.
