Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is an outbreak that this year is a frightening specter for all countries including Indonesia and the biggest impact is on online transportation with social distancing. This social distance affects travel activities such as transportation including online motorcycle taxis. So this study aims to determine changes in online motorcycle taxi travel behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic in Palembang City which was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 108 samples of online motorcycle taxis and 144 samples of online motorcycle taxi passengers / users in Palembang City. Data processing in the form of respondent characteristics during the pandemic period which includes gender, age, education, occupation and others as well as cross tabulation between questions and respondent's personal data to find out which ones have a significant effect by looking at the Chi Square value and the analysis used to determine online motorcycle taxi travel behavior is multiple linear regression to get a model of change during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the results obtained, the model for changing the behavior of online motorcycle taxi trips with the help of SPSS is Y = 1.836 - 0.407 X3 + 0.550 X4. The travel behavior change model for online motorcycle taxi users is Y = 1.156 + 0.313 X3 + 0.199 X7. The size of the regression coefficient β3 is - 0.407, this shows that the variable travel activity during the Covid-19 pandemic will change by 40.7%. The size of the regression coefficient β4 is 0.550, this shows that the variable travel frequency during the Covid-19 pandemic will change by 55%. The regression coefficient β3 is 0.313, this shows that the variable income level during the Covid-19 pandemic will change by 31.3%. The regression coefficient β7 is 0.199, this shows that the variable loyalty to online motorcycle taxis during the Covid-19 pandemic will experienced a change of 19.9%.
