Abstract

One of the facilities and infrastructure in a company is having a meeting hall or multipurpose building. A multipurpose building is a large building that is commonly used for various activities related to company management. This multipurpose building is very dependent on the lighting system and energy consumption, in order to support the smooth process of an event or a meeting being held, it is necessary to calculate the lighting system and use of electrical energy correctly and according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). This study aims to evaluate the lighting system in the office and calculate the amount of electrical energy used in the office before and after the evaluation. This research was conducted at the Multipurpose Building PT. Bukit Asam Tbk Tanjung Enim. This building consists of 2 floors, namely the ground floor and the top floor, on the ground floor there are 28 rooms and the top floor consists of 13 rooms, there are 4 rooms on the ground floor that have met the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), namely a lamp operator room with lighting intensity. amounting to 116 lux, left warehouse with lighting intensity of 238 lux, right warehouse 1 of 238 lux and left warehouse 1 of 99 lux, then there are 3 rooms on the top floor that meet the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), namely the back porch with light intensity 64 lux, the back warehouse 1 and the back warehouse 2 at 121 lux. . The total use of electrical energy by the lighting system before evaluation is 101.196 kWh / day and after re-planning using LED lights is 80.596kWh / day, with savings in electrical energy after replacing using LED lamps of 10 Watt, 12 Watt LED, 14.5 Watt LED, 19 Watt LED, 27 Watt LED, 33 Watt LED, 40 Watt LED, 15 Watt TL LED, 16 Watt TL LED, 18 Watt TL LED and 35 Watt Rell LED Spotlight it can save electricity consumption of 21,803 kWh / day.
