Abstract
The purpose of this descriptive research was to see the effects of visual-formed problems on junior high school students' motivation to learn mathematics using a mathematical modeling framework measured using several learning motivation indicators. This research was conducted on 27 students grade VII.2 of SMP Adabiyah Palembang. The questionnaire analysis results showed that the average student learning motivation on mathematics had increased, with 51,85% of students having high learning motivation, 48,15% of students having medium motivation, and 0% of students having low motivation.
