Abstract

In this study, it discusses "The Effect of Intensity of Watching K-Pop on Youtube on Imitation Behavior of Korean Wave (A Study on the Audience of Blackpink Girlband Among SMA Negeri 6 Palembang)" This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. The research method used is an associative quantitative research method which has two variables. The data used were 86 samples of active students of SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. The sampling technique used probability sampling, then for taking respondents using proportionate stratified random sampling, this technique was used because each student in class X-XII and majoring in Science and Social Sciences had a different number of students, to get a proportional or balanced number of respondents who represented each of them. each Class and Department. The results of this study are the effect of the intensity of watching K-Pop on YouTube on the imitation behavior of Korean Wave with the results of the hypothesis test rcount (r count) 0.789> (t table) 0.213. This shows that the influence of the intensity of watching K-Pop on YouTube on the imitation behavior of the Korean Wave is strong.
