Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi matematika siswa SMP terhadap pembelajaran pemodelan matematika berbentuk visual pada pokok bahasan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 27 siswa kelas VII.2 SMP Adabiyah Palembang. Indikator persepsi matematika yang diteliti yaitu pandangan manfaat matematika dalam kehidupan dan ketertarikan terhadap matematika. Persepsi matematika siswa dilihat dengan menganalisis data hasil angket dan wawancara sebagai data utama dan observasi sebagai data pendukung. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa menjadi lebih baik adalah sebagai berikut: 25,93% siswa berpersepsi amat baik, 59,26% siswa berpersepsi baik, 14,81% siswa berpersepsi cukup dan 0% siswa berpersepsi kurang.
