Abstract

Computerization in hospitals is not only used in the administration, especially in personnel, but it can be used in various care units in hospitals. To facilitate all data collection activities in the diagnosis of tongue diseases, one of the solutions in developing information management in hospitals, by maximizing the use of the database design of information systems. Database information system on the tongue image is designed as a repository for data storage and data management to diagnose a disease with dynamic knowledge base. This knowledge is obtained from various sources including data that can be directly obtained from the laboratory and medical records of Palembang Bhayangkara Hospital. The purpose of this study was to design a database that is devoted to the analysis of disease through examination of the application image on the tongue. The knowledge base is structured into a database with multiple tables including tables jenis_kelamin, pasien, periksa_lidah, hasil_periksa_lidah, knowledge_base, and diagnosa to facilitate the performance of the system. There are also Structured Query Language that can facilitate commands in an application. This disease diagnotic application will display patient data with the examination result of the tongue that has been diagnosed.
