Abstract

Hj. Cek Onah Songket Palembang is one of handicrafts weaving songket place that have not applied information technology in processing data, report preparation and product marketing. The owner experienced difficulty in calculating the amount of a whole transactions of each the process. To simplify the processes, Songket Data Processing Information System for Hj. Cek Onah Songket Artisan Palembang is created. This information system is built using the notation Diagram Activity, DFD, ERD, and the programming language is PHP and MySQL as a DBMS, with the development method of modeling systems, that comprises at requirement analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. Based on the analysis carried out, songket data processing information system have some benefits, it can shows the total of transaction from each products and helps owner to calculate profit and loss from their products. In addition, this system information produce several reports to facilitate owner on doing evaluation to apply selling strategy to the following months.
