Abstract

Total Suspended Solid (TSS) adalah material-material padat tersuspensi (melayang) dalam kolom perairan yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas perairan. Metode penginderaan jauh merupakan salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi TSS di perairan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pola sebaran konsentrasi TSS melalui integrasi antara data lapangan dengan data citra tahun 2020 serta mengetahui sebaran tahun 2017-2020, menentukan algoritma yang sesuai dalam melakukan analisis TSS dan menguji akurasi citra Sentinel-2A dalam menentukan konsentrasi TSS di Muara Sungai Upang. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari - Juli 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pola sebaran konsentrasi TSS antara data lapangan dan data citra tahun 2020 hampir sama, dengan nilai lapangan berkisar 85-217 mg/l sedangkan data citra 89,59-209,67 mg/l. Rata-rata konsentrasi pada tahun 2017-2020 berkisar 119,245-126,639 mg/l. Berdasarkan uji validasi dan uji akurasi menunjukkan Algoritma Jaelani dari persamaan regresi orde 2 (y = 5,5041x2- 412,36x + 7812,3) yang lebih sesuai dengan nilai R2 0,9351 dan nilai RMSE terendah yaitu 0,089. Dimana semakin rendah nilai RMSE menunjukkan semakin baik kesesuaian antara variabel yang dibandingkan. Kata Kunci : Algoritma Jaelani, Citra Sentinel 2, Muara Sungai Upang, Total Suspended Solid (TSS) Total Suspended Solid (TSS) are solid materials suspended (floating) in the water column that can affect the water quality. The remote sensing is one of the methods used to determine the TSS concentration in water. The purpose of this research was to analyze the distribution pattern of TSS concentrations through the integration between field data with the image data of 2020 and also to know the distribution in the year of 2017-2020, to determine the suitable algorithm for conducting the analysis of TSS and to test the accuration of Sentinel-2A imagery using in determining the concentration of TSS in the Upang Estuary. This research was conducted on February – July 2020. The result of the research showed that the pattern of TSS concentration distribution between the field data and the image data in the year of 2020 was almost similar, with the field values ranged about 85-217 mg/l while the image data was 89,59-209,67 mg/l. Based on the validation and accuracy test, it indicated that the Jaelani Algorithm from the orde 2 regression equation (y = 5,5041x2- 412,36x + 7812,3) which is more suitable with the the value of R2 0,9351 and the value of the lowest RMSE is 0,089.
