Abstract

This research is entitled "Mixed Marriage Malay with Singkek in the City of Koba Bangka 2000-2007". The problems in this research are how the customary procedures for marriage between Malay and Singkek people in Koba Bangka City 2000-2007, how is the process of Malay marriage with Singkek in Koba Bangka City from 2000-2007, how are the problems of mixed marriage between Malay and Singkek in Koba Bangka City in 2000-2007 and how the impact of the Malay marriage with Singkek in Koba Bangka City 2000-2007. The purpose of this research is to determine the history of mixed Malay marriages in the city, starting from the procedures, the marriage process, the problems before marriage, and the impact of the Malay marriage with Singkek in Koba City in 2000-2007. This research uses a historical method with the following steps: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. From the research results, it was found that the implementation of the Malay wedding ceremony with Singkek in Koba City was carried out and first recorded in 1965, as well as the process of the stages in a mixed Malay marriage with Singkek in the city of Koba, the problems that occurred before the wedding and the impact after the Malay marriage with Singkek in this Koba City. This Malay marriage with Singkek in Koba City is a symbol of religious tolerance and religious life in Bangka which is very well intertwined and creates safe conditions.
