Abstract

Parasit Perkinsus olseni dapat menyebabkan penyakit Perkinsiosis pada Anadara granosa dan menyebabkan organ dalam menjadi pucat, mantel tertarik ke bawah dan kematian 80-100%. Perairan Pesisir Banyuasin yang mulai mengalami penurunan kualitas perairan, sangat berpotensi menimbulkan penyakit Perkinsiosis pada kerang akibat interaksi antara jasad penyakit, inang dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis tingkat kesehatan Anadara granosa pada Perairan Banyuasin. Identifikasi pernyakit perkinsisosis terlebih dahulu dilakukan pengamatan gejala klinis, kemudian dilakukan uji PCR, dilanjutkan pemeriksaan sekuen atau urut DNA dan kemudian dianalisis urutan DNA dengan standard GenBank. Hasil uji klinis dan pemerikssan elektroforesis didapatkan sampel Ag3, Ag4 dan Ag6 terindikasi terinfeksi parasit P. olseni dengan ukuran 450bp. Komposisi basa DNA A+T P. olseni lebih banyak dibandingkan komposisi basa DNA G+C. Sampel Ag3 memiliki tingkat similaritas 99.13% dengan P. olseni PM103CHV23 dan sampel Ag4 memiliki tingkat similaritas sebesar 98.25 % dengan P. olseni PM103CHV23.
