Abstract

Muara Sungai Upang merupakan salah satu bagian dari aliran Sungai Musi, dengan segala aktivitas yang berada di pesisir Sungai Upang berpengaruh terhadap dinamika perairan muara Sungai Upang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis – jenis zooplankton, struktur komunitas zooplankton, serta kondisi parameter berpengaruh terhadap kelimpahan zooplankton berdasarkan pasang surut di perairan muara Sungai Upang. Penelitian ini berlangsung pada 15 februari 2020 dengan pengambilan sampel zooplankton pada 9 stasiun, dengan berdasarkan pasang surut air laut. Kemudian dilakukan pengukuran terhadap parameter perairan, yang kemudian dilakukan analisis keterkaitanya terhadap kelimpahan zooplankton menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Ditemukan zooplankton dari dua filum yaitu, filum Crustacea terdiri dari Nauplius, Diaptomus, Euterpina, Daphnia. Filum Rotifera terdiri dari Keratella, Branhionus, Polyarthra, Plationus, Trichotria. Kondisi struktur komunitas zooplankton perairan muara Sungai Upang terdiri dari kelimpahan total saat pasang 1316,347 ind/L dan 1096,474 ind/L saat surut. Keanekaragaman yang sedang, keseragaman yang tinggi, serta dominansi yang rendah. Hubungan parameter perairan dan kelimpahan zooplankton berdasarkan analisis regresi linier berganda sangat kuat dengan nilai R2 saat pasang 0,832 dan saat surut 0,942. Kata Kunci : Muara Sungai Upang, Struktur Komunitas, Zooplankton. The Upang River estuary is part of the Musi River flow, with all activities on the coast of the Upang River affecting the dynamics of the waters of the Upang River estuary. This study aims to determine the types of zooplankton, the structure of the zooplankton community, and the condition parameters that affect the abundance of zooplankton based on the tides in the waters of the mouth of the Upang River. This research took place on February 15, 2020 with zooplankton sampling at 9 stations, based on the tides. Then carried out measurements of the water parameters, which then carried out analysis of their relationship to the abundance of zooplankton using multiple linear regression analysis. Zooplankton were found from two phyla, namely, the crustacean phylum consisting of Nauplius, Diaptomus, Euterpina, and Daphni. Phylum Rotifera consists of Keratella, Branhionus, Polyarthra, Plationus, Trichotria. The condition of the zooplankton community structure in the waters of the Upang River estuary consists of the total abundance at tide of 1316,347 ind / L and 1096,474 ind / L at low tide. Medium diversity, high uniformity, and low dominance. The relationship between water parameters and zooplankton abundance based on multiple linear regression analysis is very strong with R2 value at high tide 0.832 and low tide 0.942.
