Abstract
Assignment problem is one part of linier program that faced on work and industry’s world. Common assignment issues includes n tasks assigned to m employees, where the employee have different skill and productivity to finish up each tasks had done. One of the methods can finish up the problem is hungarian methods. The purpose of this research is to optimize employee assignments by look on the minimum operational costs and completion time of minimum tasks using the hungarian methods. From the results of the research, after using the hungarian methods had obtained completion time tailor tailor at Ridho Tailor in Kabanjahe that is 48 hours, where there is an efficiency of 9,6 hours if compared completion time before using the hungarian methods that is 57,6 hours. Production costs incurred by the company for employee assignments with optimal completion time that is Rp 5.165.500,00 company profits of Rp 1.413.500,00 to complete 10 type of production
