Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of education level, work experience, and training followed by accounting staff on the quality of public health centers financial statements in Palembang city. This research is a type of causal research. This study uses primary data using a questionnaire method that is distributed and filled out by accounting staff at the public health centers in Palembang. The research sample was 41 public health centers, but only 39 public health centers which participated and were answering the questionnaire. The hypothesis were tested and the data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) program. The results showed the level of education owned by accounting staff and training followed by accounting staff have a significant positive effect on the quality of the public health center financial statements. On the other side, work experience owned by accounting staff does not have effect on the quality of public health centers financial statements.
