Abstract

This study entitled "The Effect of Green Advertising on the Brand Image of Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) with the Ades brand (Study on Students of the Department of Communication, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University)" which raises the issue of the effect of green advertising on the brand image of Ades brand drinking water. This study aims to determine how the influence of the brand image that has been issued by the Ades brand mineral water on students majoring in Unsri Communication Science. This research uses a quantitative method with an explanative descriptive technique. The theory used in this research is the Green Advertising Theory, Karna et al., Who say that green advertising is an advertisement based on a strategy to emphasize environmental issues. The research data was obtained from primary, secondary data, and the results of distributing questionnaires to respondents. Based on the research results, it was found that the influence of green advertising on the brand image of Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) with Ades Brand was 74.5% and the remaining 25.5% was based on other factors. So it can be concluded that Green Advertising has a big influence on the Brand Image of Bottled Water with the Ades Brand.
