Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the financial feasibility of modifying a refregator to cool hydroponic growing media on lettuced from October 2019 to February 2019 at the Faculty of Agriculture Technology Department, Sriwijaya University. Parameters observed were cost analysis calculations and feasibility calculation analysis. The results of yhe analysis calculation based on the Net Present Value (NPV) investment criteria, the net B/C ratio, and the Break Even Point (BEP) indicated that the investment of a refrigerator modification machine was financially not feasible to do with a Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 4.703.017 net B/C ratio of 1,625 and Break Points respectively for production volumes of 34,75 /kg and for production prices of Rp. 100.000/kg.
