Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between production costs and profits in the molding and building materials industry in Indonesia during the 2001-2017 period. The analytical method used is qualitative analysis including the calculation of profit and production costs as well as quantitative analysis, namely testing the relationship between production costs and profits using the correlation coefficient analysis tool. The results of this study are (1) Profits in the molding and building materials industry in Indonesia during the 2001-2017 period fluctuated with an average of 1.132 billion rupiah (2) Production costs of molding and building materials in Indonesia during the 2001-2017 period. experiencing fluctuation with an average of 3.576 billion rupiah (3) The relationship between production costs has a positive and insignificant relationship with a correlation level of 39.4 percent.
