Abstract

The EOQ model is one of the models in inventory that aims to get a minimum total inventory cost. This research uses EOQ model to get minimum inventory cost by considering factors from optimum order quantity, ordering frequency, safety stock, reorder point and maximum inventory on Cowboy Chair Goat Skin product. Based on the results of the study, if the company can pay attention to these factors, then the raw material inventory using EOQ model is more optimal than the calculation of the company, this is due to the total inventory cost efficiency. Total inventory cost obtained by the company Rp6.534.000. Meanwhile EOQ model for the period August 2015 - July 2016 Rp Rp1.173.096 and for the period of August 2016 - July 2017 to Rp1.256.438, this means the EOQ model provides cost efficiency for both periods of 82% and 80%.
