Abstract

The research is geographically located at S6 ° 31 ′ 30 ″ - S6 ° 36 ′ 0 ″ and E106 ° 22 ′ 30 ″ - E106 ° 27 ′ 0 ″ which are included in three sub-districts, these are Cipanas District, Lebak Gedong District and Sukajaya District. The three Districts is topographically has slope morphology, hilly and high rainfall, with the result that these areas are included in areas prone to landslides. The purpose of this study is to analyze the stability of of the slope, starting from the slope parameter, height parameter, rock type parameter, and rock shear strength, used the Direct Shear Test method to obtain the value of cohesion and internal shear strength. Then proceed by using the application-based method, namely the Bishop method, which in the process uses Rockscience slide V6.0 software. The parameters used in finding the Safety Factor (FK) are the internal shear angle (ɸ), cohesion (c), and soil density (y). Based on the research results, there are five observation locations that have been carried out with the results of slope stability analysis, the safety factor value is obtained at observation first location = 0.294 (stable slope) with claystone lithology, observation second location = 1.255 (stable slope) with claystone lithology, observation third location = 1.283 (Stable Slope) with tuffan sandstone lithology, observation forth location = 1.292 (stable Slope) with tuffan sandstone lithology, and observation fifth location = 0.107 (stable slope) with andesite fragmented tuffan sandstone lithology. From the results of the analysis, it was found that 2 locations had unstable slopes, namely at observation locations 1 and 5, therefore mitigation was carried out at the observation location where at the 5 observation location the value of the safety factor became 1.127 or the slope was stable by means of terracing with a reduction in the angle value from the slope uses the calculation of the Overall slope angle, so that it makes the slope safe. Based on the results of field observations and data analysis, it was found that the types of landslides that developed in the study area were translational landslides and rockfall types. Keywords: Slope, safety factor, mitigation.
