Abstract

When the coal price keeps going down. PT. Dizamatra Powerindo decided to find a new way to increase production but decrease the cost of mining. Based on this decision engineer plan to cut short hauling road which impact the decrease of transportation cost and keep increase the production. This new road planned to had 100 m for maximum elevation and 1 km length with the hope that it will shorten the cycle time. After realization of new road, the comparison is the old road capable of 167.876ton/month coal with cycle time 24,67 minutes and range 3078,95 m. Meanwhile the production of new road production increases up to 24.202 ton/month becomes 192.078 ton/month with cycle time 21,69 minutes dan range 2951,85. The cost to make new road estimated RP512.699.711,00 and calculated to cut the cost Rp445,00/ton.
