Abstract

The aims of this research are to: 1). Analyze factors affecting the production of RSS; 2) analyze the efficiency level of production factors on RSS production; 3) calculate income of company from RSS production and 4) describe the processed rubber (RSS) marketing system at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII. The research was conducted at PTPN VII South Sumatra Liason Office and Musi Landas RSS Processing Unit from October till Desember 2020. The production factors for raw materials, machine capacity and labor used have a simultaneous effect on RSS production on year 2017 to 2019. Production factors of raw materials and machine capacity partially significantly affect the production of RSS at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII during the period 2017-2019. The labor production factor partially has no significant effect on the production of RSS at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII during the period 2017-2019. The use of raw material production factors and labor is not efficient so it needs to be added again, while for the use of production factors the machine capacity is not efficient so it needs to be reduced for its use. For 2017 to 2019, the highest income from RSS production occurred in 2018 in January amounting to IDR 5,937,291,678,213. The flow of marketing for RSS products is carried out by land and sea routes. RSS which is in the RSS storage warehouse is transported by truck to the Boom Baru Port of Palembang. PTPN VII produce RSS as processed product to increase added value from raw material. Price fixing and promotion process was decided by Kantor Pemasaran Bersama (KPB) of PTPN. RSS processing plant is selected at Musi Landas, Banyuasin regency with consideration from the company.
