Abstract

the research discusses the activities of the National Narcotics Agency of South Sumatera province in preventing drug abuse among the teenagers in Palembang and the proscess undertaken in carrying out such activities, the research This uses qualitative descripstive research methods with the aim to describe all the conditions, situations and social phenomena of what is happening in the community. Data collection methods used are with in-depth interviews, observations and documentation studies, Action and communication, and program evalution, The results showed that the National Narcotics Agency of South Sumatera Province in prevention of drug abuse among adolescents in Palembang is well implemented but the number of drug abuse among adolescents Is stiil experciencing a fairly significant increase.
