Abstract
In this study, the design of a wind speed monitoring system was carried out. The sensor used in measuring wind speed is a motoric cup anemometer sensor in the form of a JL-FS2 anemometer sensor. This monitoring system utilizes electromagnetic wave connectivity in the form of radio waves at a frequency of 433 MHz and a computer as a data viewer from sensor measurements. The design of the tool consists of an Arduino-based microcontroller component, a LoRa radio frequency module. Wind speed measurement data is stored in the form of a text file with txt extension generated from the realterm serial communication monitor application. Testing the characteristics of the JL-FS2 anemometer sensor has excellent accuracy and precision values.
