Abstract

Parental control is important in the life of a children at school. Therefore, this study aims to looking at the relationship between parental control with learning motivation of student who likes game at LL Junior High School. By using simple random sampling’s technique, obtained 80 students from seventh and eight grade who likes game. The data were collected through parental control scale which based on aspect of parental control’s Wells and Rankin (1988) and learning motivation scale which based on indicator of learning motivation’s Uno (2014). Then, analyzed using pearson’s product moment correlation. The result of this study showed that the value of pearson correlation is 0,445 and the value of significantion is 0,000 (p < 0,05). That’s mean, there was a positive correlation between parental control with learning motivation of student who likes game at LL Junior High School. Thus, the hypothesis in this study were accepted.
