Abstract

This study examines the "Effect of Community Empowerment on the Economic Level of the Songket Weaver Community in Muara Penimbung Ulu Village through the Kampung BNI Program". The problem of this research is to see whether the empowerment program carried out by Kampung BNI has had a significant effect on the economic level of the weavers community in Muara Penimbung Ulu Village. The method used in this research is the Associative Quantitative research method. The data collection technique was done by using a questionnaire. The scale used in the questionnaire is the Likert scale, which uses an ordinal data scale which is then converted into an interval data scale using the Method of Successive Interval (MSI). The number of respondents was 32 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between Community Empowerment on the Economic Level of the Songket Weavers Community in Muara Penimbung Ulu Village. Shown through a simple correlation test which shows the significance value of t count 6.68 > t table 2.042, and the magnitude of the effect tested through the coefficient of determination is 59.30%.
