Abstract

Pemilihan metode kontrasepsi membutuhkan kerjasama antara petugas kesehatan dengan akseptor khususnya PUS melalui pelayanan KB yang diberikan karena dapat membantu menentukan kontrasepsi sesuai kondisi akseptor. IUD merupakan metode kontrasepsi yang dianjurkan dalam program Nasional Kontrasepsi Berencana karena memiliki efektifitas 97-99% untuk mencegah kehamilan dan pemakaian jangka panjang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan pelayanan KB dengan pemilihan alat kontrsepsi Intra Uterine Device (IUD) pada pasangan usia subur (PUS) di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Indralaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasangan usia subur yang berada pada Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Indralaya dengan jumlah 5.669 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pasangan usia subur yang menggunakan alat kontrasepsi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Indralaya sebanyak 132 responden. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah univariat, bivariat, menggunakan chi-square dan multivariat menggunakan regresi logistik ganda model faktor risiko. Berdasarkan analisis multivariat menunjukkan ada hubungan antara pelayanan KB dengan pemilihan IUD setelah dikontrol dengan varaibel dukungan suami dan pendidikan (PR= 24; 95% CI antara 3,888 sampai 148,167; p-value = 0,001 < alpha 0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara pelayanan KB dengan pemilihan metode alat kontrasepsi IUD. Pelayanan KB yang diberikan kepada responden mayoritas sudah cukup baik.
