Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) to calculate pepper farmer household income in Muara Rungga Village, (2) to calculate contribution of each sources of income toward pepper farmer household income, (3) to analyze factors affecting pepper farmer household income in Muara Rungga Village. This research was conducted in Muara Rungga Village Pasemah Air Keruh Sub District Empat Lawang Regency from Februari to March 2020. The method used in this research was survey method. The data collected in this research were primary and secondary data. Based on the research that has been conducted, the obtained results are 1) the average household income of pepper farmer in Muara Rungga Village is Rp21.389.484,87/year, 2) the highest contributing source to household income is from non-pepper farming (52.50 percent), 3) four variables that significantly affect pepper farmer household income are land area of pepper farming (X1), non-farming land area (X2), other types of business (X6) and pepper production (X7).
