Abstract

PT. Satria Bahana Sarana is a company engaged in the mining contractor of coal mining in collaboration with PT. Bukit Asam in managing a coal mine located in Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra. The mining location is located in the West Banko operation area with a WIUP area of 4,500 hectares, which started production in March 2015 in Tanjung Enim, South Sumtera. Coal mining is carried out in three different locations, namely: Pit 1 Utara, Pit 1 Timur and at Banko Tengah block B. The total production is 11. 850,000 tons / year and the total production in pit 1 Utara is 3,800,000 tons / year. Total reserves are 4884.15 million tons and total reserves in West Bangko is 671.10 million tons with a mine life of 5 years. The mining system applied is an open pit system. This research was conducted on March 23, 2020 to May 23, 2020. This research was carried out starting from literature studies, field observations, data collection, and data processing in the form of runoff water flow into the mine, pump head and discharge, and open channels. The planned drainage system is in pit 1 north with an elevation at the end of the exit pipe of 89.67 m and an elevation at the suction end pipe of 23.67 m with the sump water being pumped into the mud settling pond (KPL) and the length of the pump to the exit pipe of 800 m. and the length of the inlet pipe to the pump is 8 m with a rain catchment area of 1,439,400 m2. And the water discharge that is discharged at the DND 200 pump for 1 hour is 427.0525 m³ / hour with a power of 131.755 kW so it takes 6 hours.
