Abstract
Dividend policy is a component that can not be separated from the company’s financial policy. This dividend policy is influenced by many factors, because of that, this research intended to 1) knowing what is the variable of Leverage, Return on Asset (ROA), Growth, Volatilities, and for the Dividend Payout Ratio in mining sector Corporation that registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange at the period of 2004-2007 and 2) knowing what is the most dominant variable for Dividend Payout Ratio. The result of this research shows that stimulatingly Leverage, Return on Asset (ROA), Growth, Volatilities, and Size variable have a significant relation to Dividend Payout Ratio with the 5% significant level, while partially Return on Asset (ROA) have a significant relation. The result of this research also shows that Return on Asset is the most dominant effect to Dividend Payout Ratio. To make the next research better, then the writers suggest using more independent variable to obtain bigger determination coefficient score. For anybody who wants to do the research with the same variable it’s expected using more number of samples and longer period of research.
